Earlier last week it was 70s night, then it was 80s night on Friday and hundreds turned out to celebrate.
This was the 80s night for the Henri-Lloyd Falmouth Week festivities when music from the decade echoed from the Events Square as those attending dressed for the occasion.
Roger Hollingsworth, chairman of the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association, said there was little doubt that all the shoreside events had been a huge successs, not least the 80s night.
The Events Square was an ideal venue for all sorts of functions, and he hoped next year's Falmouth Week would be equally as successful, although he hoped more younger people would step forward to join the committee and inject new blood into the organisation. The evening was backed by popular demand, and playing for the audience was Once More into The Bleach, a tribute band for Blondie, followed by DJ Dean Woods, who continued until midnight.
There was even time during the evening to look skyward and enjoy a firework display taking place nearby.
