The Pandora Inn at Restronguet Creek is ablaze.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service has described the thatched roof of the 13th century pub as “well alight.”
It has issued an urgent appeal to residents of Restronguet to keep all their doors and windows closed, due to the amount of smoke billowing from the pub.
The smoke can be seen from as far away as Devoran. Six pumps from Falmouth, Truro and Redruth are currently at the scene and more are understood to be on their way.
At the moment here are 35 firefighters tackling the blaze
The road to the pub – which already has limited access – is closed.
