The National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth was host to the Olympic torch today as part of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) media briefing.
Jonathan Griffin, Museum Director, is pictured holding the 2012 Olympic torch alongside the Maritime Museum’s 29m tower which will be transformed into possibly the UK’s largest replica torch, ‘illuminating’ Falmouth’s sky line with replica ‘flames’ on Saturday, May 19, Cornwall’s Olympic torch relay day.
