High tides and heavy rain has led to flooding at the Pandora Inn for the last two nights.
The combination of the two elements has resulted in the car park flooding at the popular Restronguet pub.
Set on the waterside, water can be a familiar problem when the tide is at its highest.
This week’s increase in water saw the fish that live in the creek taking full advantage. They could be seen swimming around the car park, which was ankle-deep in water.
So far the pub itself has remained dry, although it is well prepared for such eventualities.
It contains a ‘plug’ that can be pulled should the ground floor flood, which will release the water once the tide has receded.
