This year has seen a rare double at Falmouth Golf Club, writes Keith Rashleigh.
Husband-and-wife team and long-standing stalwarts David “Dickie” Dickinson and Lynne Dickinson have pulled off a unique double as they both won the respective “Past Captains” events in the same year.
David won the Caryl Patterson Plate and Lynne followed this up by winning the Den Woolcock Cup.
David was Club Captain in the club`s centenary year 1994 while Lynne was Ladies' Captain in 1996.
