A large contingent of Falmouth Running Club runners took part in their own hosted 10K race on Sunday, part of the Cornwall Multi Terrain Race Series.
Some 219 runners started the race at Carwinnion Fields and were soon out on the muddy SW Coast path heading around Rosemullion Head heading towards Durgan.
Here runners turned back in land through Trebah Gardens and passing Glendurgan before heading back to Carwinnion Fields.
First home for the club and overall race winner was Ed Dickinson, with Tom Carthey coming in second, Stuart Walker in fourth and Daniel Harper in ninth achieving for the team first place overall.
First woman home for the club was Alice Trevail. The next race for the club on home "turf" is the annual five mile Mob Match on the 3rd of December.
