Falmouth faced Bristol in a doubleheader in the South West Shinty League.

In the first game, the Cornish side secured a 6-2 victory against the Bristol Pirates.

Despite not having any substitutes, Falmouth's Amos and Calum Robertson dominated the game, with Amos scoring four goals.

In the second game, however, Falmouth faced a tough challenge against the Bristol Bees.

The Bees, eager for revenge, overpowered the Cornish champions, winning 10-4.

Despite their earlier victory, Falmouth struggled to keep up with the Bristol Bees, who took full advantage of their fresh start.

The match, played at Dracaena Shinty Pitch, saw Mabe dominate despite the initial threat from the less experienced CSM Blue team.

Mabe, led by captain Paul Tatibogel, quickly demonstrated their strength with a long-range shot from Matt Noonan and a goal from Libby Walters.

However, CSM Blue's Molly Shaw, known as Mellman, fought back with strategic plays, including a goal from Jacob Scott, bringing the score to 3-2 at half-time.

The second half saw CSM Blue making a tactical error, which allowed Mabe's Marc Kelly to score six goals in just 14 minutes.

Matt Mossop also added to the scoreline, achieving a hat-trick in the second half, sealing Mabe's decisive victory.

Marc Kelly was named Player of the Match.

Looking ahead, the next matches are scheduled for November 10 at Dracaena, starting at 2pm.

The Camborne School of Mines Blue and Gold teams will host the Bristol Bees in the Remembrance Day matches.

These fixtures promise more exciting action in the Southwest Shinty League as the teams continue to battle for supremacy.
