Truro Cricket Club secured victory in the Women's Performance League this season.
The team demonstrated a commanding presence throughout, notably achieving a 139-run win over Grampound Road and a 9-wicket victory against Redruth.
Some matches were conceded by opposing teams, but this allowed Truro's team to showcase their depth, with every player contributing to the campaign under the leadership of captain Izzy Newell.
Rebecca Rowe topped the batting charts with a standout score of 60 against Grampound Road, followed by Lorraine Fletcher's crucial 50 against Redruth.
Ashley Bridges also bolstered the middle order, finishing the season with a batting average of 19.5.
In the bowling department, Rowe led with 10 wickets at an average of 11.5, including best figures of 4/5, while Lisa Harper claimed 6 wickets, averaging a wicket every 11 balls.
Newell and Lottie Bose chipped in with 7 wickets between them.
In the field, Georgie Sweet led with three dismissals, including two catches and a run out.
The team’s all-round performance was marked by determination, skill, and teamwork, earning them the title of Women's Performance League champions.
