The Cornish Pirates has renewed its partnership with locally-based Crusty Juggler Rum, making it the club's exclusive rum for a second season.

Members of the Pirates, including Will Trewin, Will Gibson, and Harry Hocking, have been acting as brand ambassadors.

There's also exciting news for fans this season.

A pop-up rum shack from Crusty Juggler Rum will be run at The Mennaye on selected match days.

Crusty Juggler Rum boasts a unique flavour, with the process starting by combining Caribbean rum, deep molasses, and Demerara sugar.

The base rum is enriched with the addition of orange peel and spices such as ginger, cinnamon, clove, and vanilla.

The rum is then left to age in ex-bourbon whiskey casks.

The head of media, marketing, and commercial at Cornish Pirates, Ross Hancock, shared his excitement about the continued partnership.

He said: "We were delighted to welcome Crusty Juggler on board last season, so we’re extremely pleased to carry on the partnership.

"The two brands work so well together, it’s another example of a local business going from strength to strength here in Cornwall."

Co-founder of Crusty Juggler Rum, Tom Hanson, also praised the partnership, adding: "We're incredibly excited to continue as the exclusive Rum of the Cornish Pirates for the next season!

"We're huge rugby fans so to be involved with this fantastic local club is a big honour."
