Cornish Pirates supporters and sponsors watched on as the squad took part in training on Mennaye Field.
After the session, attendees got together in the Yeomans marquee for the conclusion of the annually celebrated event.
Attendees partook in a complementary hog roast meal, courtesy of Roseworthy Farms, and draft from St Austell Brewery.
Sally Pettipher, newly appointed chief executive officer (CEO) of the Pirates, was formally welcomed by joint head coach, Alan Paver.
She expressed her passion for the Pirates and gratitude to the supporters and team sponsors.
In what has become a tradition, Phil Westren, PA announcer, officially greeted everyone and praised last season's triumphant players and their coaches.
He also took to announcing new members of the squad and the re-signing of former prop Jay Tyack, met by approving cheers from the crowd.
John Stevens was confirmed as team captain once more by Joint Head Coach, Gavin Cattle.
Cattle also commented on the player's pre-season efforts and gave a promising assessment on how well the new members were integrating into the team.
Ending the evening on a high, the popular Cadgwith Singers performed a collection of favourite Cornish songs.
The evening integrated a blend of enjoyment and information, as Pirates supporters now eagerly anticipate the forthcoming season.
