Mt Hawke 233-7 Wendron 144
Wendron are still to get off the mark following a 89 run defeat at the Victory Ground. The home side’s top order all did well after Eliot Thomas accounted for Simon Smith and Benje Bryant for 42. They got to 200 for four with Richard Chynoweth (47), Ryan Thomas (58) and Robert Jefferies (28) contributing. Rob Atkinson made 36 not out. Thomas picked up a couple of late wickets to end with four for 37 from eleven overs. There was one each for Ryan Mitchell, Tony Harris and Craig Owens. Tony Harris anchored the Wendron reply with 61. He got little support however with only Ryan Mitchell (20) and Peter Alsop (15) getting into double figures. Wendron make the trip to Hayle on Saturday.
Mt Hawke – Mt Hawke 233-7 (R Thomas 58, R Chynoweth 47, R Atkinson 36no, R Jeffries 28; E Thomas 4-37), Wendron 144 (A Harris 61, R Mitchell 20; J Smith 4-23, C Madeley 4-29). Mt Hawke (20 points) beat Wendron (six) by 89 runs.
Mullion 241-6 Constantine 106
Mullion eased to victory against a struggling Constantine side who have lost a number of players recently. Ben Johnson (56) and Mark Hall (59) weighed in with half centuries. Trevor Lee opened with 33 while Daniel Johnson was undefeated on 48 at the end. Graham Griffiths took two wickets for the visitors. Ben Johnson took five for 45 and Joss Hearn four for 21 as Constantine were bowled out for 106 in the twenty-third over. The win lifts Mullion to fifth in the table. They host St Newlyn East on Saturday who have just the one win to date. Constantine will be hoping for better things at Mount Ambrose.

St Newlyn East 162 Praze 166-3
Praze recorded their fourth win of the season and are third in the table, just ten points behind leaders Gulval. Ian Chatfield got rid of the St Newlyn East openers Neil Curnow and Alan Martyn. Joe Martyn held the visitors up however making 71. Shivakumar Mruthanjaya supported with 23. Once they departed the wickets tumbled with Chatfield, Damian Lynes and Jevon Nolan taking three each. The Praze openers got their side off to a good start. Ben James made 33 and Chatfield 51. They were backed up by skipper Grant Rowe’s 26 and Tom James who was undefeated on 32. The winning runs came with seventeen overs to spare. Praze have a derby at Beacon on Saturday.
St Newlyn East - St Newlyn East 162 (J Martyn 71, S Mruthanjaya 23; J Nolan 3-45, I Chatfield 3-28), Praze 166-3 (I Chatfield 51, B James 33, P James 32; J Symons 2-28). Praze (20 points) beat St Newlyn East (five) by seven wickets.
Division 4
Porthleven are in fourth spot after a good performance at Rectory Road. The home side were bowled out for 115 of which opener Adam Payne made 42. Adam Young took three for 17 from eleven overs and Chris Higgs three for 43. Higgs opened the innings and dominated to make 70 not out with twelve boundaries. Ben Pascoe and Aidan Botha both made 14. Porthleven visit Ludgvan seconds on Saturday.
St Buryan – St Buryan 115 (A Payne 42; A Young 3-17, C Higgs 3-43, P Harding 2-15), Porthleven 119-2 (C Higgs 70no, B Pascoe 14, A Botha 14no). Porthleven (20pts) beat St Buryan (three) by eight wickets.
