There were no Premier League games scheduled on Bank Holiday Monday but the rest of the League’s programme was totally washed out in the west of the county, as heavy rain swept in from late morning.

Perranarworthal suffered at the hands of the visiting captain Ben Millar at Tredrea.
The New Zealander came in at 19 for two after Simon Blackburn had struck twice.
He went on to make an undefeated 130. Opener Andrew Keeble made 54 in a third wicket stand of 105. Tom Dinnis chipped in with 25. Blackburn took three for 47 with two each for Carl Murphy and Phil Bostock. Perran got to 53 for one before a disappointing collapse set in. Andrew Brotherton made 18 and Paul Howard 17. Hugh Rogers took six for 17 from ten overs. Following Monday’s washout at Gorran Perran hope to break their duck at home to Beacon on Saturday.

Troon 212-7 Stithians 169-9
Stithians mixed start to life in County Division One continued with a 43 run defeat at Treslothan Road as Troon gained revenge for their recent village cup defeat. 
Tom Williams got the home side off to a good start making 33 before being dismissed at 65. The innings was built on a third wicket stand of 120 between opener Toby Whiteford (58) and Daniel Mitchell who made 59.
Extras contributed a useful 48. Glyn Furnival took three for 50 and Craig Mouatt two for 46. Stithians lost half their side for 54 before Callum Martin made 47, Furnival 35 and John Millership 23. Steve Eddy picked up four for 18 from ten overs with two each for Gavin Tregenza and JJ Walker. Stithians face a tough trip to Menheniot Looe on Saturday where they will be looking for a better showing than their Division Two County Final last year.
Troon –Troon 212-7 (D Mitchell 59, T Whiteford 58, T Williams 33; G Furnival 3-50, C Mouatt 2-46), Stithians 169-9 (C Martin 47, G Furnival 35; J Millership 23; S Eddy 4-38, G Tregenza 2-22, J Walker 2-39). Troon (19 points) beat Stithians (seven) by 43 runs.

Division 2
Falmouth II 253-7 Crofty Holman 212

Success at Trescobeas has, seemingly, become infectious this year as the seconds’ unbeaten start was maintained at Blaythorne.
After losing their first four wickets for 83 Sam McCrea made 93 not out including a six and 11 fours off 79 balls. Liam Hoban made 47 in a fifth wicket stand of 80. The hosts slipped to 132 for six but opener Alan Shears made 81 and Ryan Downing 47 to give hope. Falmouth make the short trip to St Gluvias on Saturday for the first derby this year.
Crofty/Holman –Falmouth 253-7 (S McCrea 93no, L Hoban 47; L Caddy 2-48, C Fenton 2-51), Crofty Holman 212 (A Shears 81, R Downing 47, L Caddy 25, G Mankee 25; G Stephens 3-51, W Legge 2-36, J Stephens 2-13). Falmouth (20 points) beat Crofty Holman (eight) by 41 runs.

Leedstown 61 St Gluvias 62-2
There was an early finish at Kernick Road as the Leedstown batting capitulated. Only two batsmen, Alastair Cooper (10) and Kyle Allen (11) got into double figures.
Ben Mitchell did the early damage taking five for 19 from ten overs. Scott Kellow took a wicket on his debut, having been transferred from St Austell. The St Gluvias openers almost knocked off the runs without being parted. Shaun Semmens made 26 and Kieran Brownfield 22. Kellow and Matt Julian got the winning runs. St Gluvias host neighbours Falmouth seconds on Saturday.
St Gluvias – Leedstown 61 (K Allen 11; B Mitchell 5-19, A Julian 2-6), St Gluvias 62-2 (S Semmens 26, K Brownfield 22; A Cooper 1-25, K Knowles 1-31). St Gluvias (20 points) beat Leedstown (two) by eight wickets.

Constantine are still looking for their first success after suffering a 135 run defeat at Garro Lane. They make the trip to Mount Ambrose this weekend.
