Helston Athletic manager Sid Taylor speaks to the Packet after his side's comfortable 4-1 victory against Truro City Reserves on the opening day of the season in Peninsula League division one west.
Ashley Stidwell opened the scoring for Helston after just six minutes, followed by a goal from striker Mark Goldsworthy two minutes later.
Tom Russell put Helston into a commanding 3-0 lead at the break, before Truro pulled a goal back thanks to Scott Palmer's spot kick.
But Helston snuffed out any hopes of a Truro comeback in the 77th minute when Charlie Young curled in the Blues' fourth from the edge of the box.
