TRURO GIRLS u12s 5
FALMOUTH United girls u12s played two matches in December with the first match played in rain and cold winds.
United were without their goalkeeper, so Emma Snowdon and Charley Abraham both stepped in and played half a match each, then a half playing up front.
Both Emma and Charley made some good saves against the Truro side and Mabel Dolan, normally a defender, played in midfield and scored her first and well-deserved goal for United.
Each time United scored Truro replied with an equaliser.
It was a good game by both sides and United's Cara Kiszczuk notched a hat-trick and Robyn Instance added the other.
Player(s) of the match were Emma Snowdon and Charley Abraham.

United welcomed new player Charlie Welch who made her debut in defence in the second half.
Potential was shown right away by Charlie who fed the ball to midfielder and captain of the team, Cara Kiszczuk, United never gave up fighting for the ball and some times winning possession against the table-topping visiting side.
Kathryn Nancholas, for United, made a great comeback from an injury at school and made some excellent saves throughout the game. In the second half she conceded just two goals, both rebounds.
Despite the defeat, United manager Kerry Instance was delighted with the whole team's effort and general standard of play in the newly-formed team's sixth match.
Player of the match was Gemma Wallace.
