Goals from Penryn Athletic debutant Ed Wilton and striker Greg Hobbs saw Steve Jewell's side take all three points against Truro City reserves to move fifth in division one west.
It was the first competitive game for Penryn since the second week of January and victory moves them level on points with Callington, who were thrashed 5-1 by Helston Athletic at Kellaway Park.
Elsewhere league leaders Mousehole narrowly beat Perranporth 1-0, but Porthleven were edged out 3-2 at home against Vospers Oak Villa.
Sticker stay in touch with the leading pack thanks to a narrow 2-1 win away at Holsworthy, but Penzance's season to forget continued at Penlee Park after the Magpies were beaten 2-0 by Dobwalls.
