Helston Athletic 3 Perranporth 4 (aet)
Helston Athletic's hopes of lifting the Cornwall Charity Cup ended at Kellaway Park on Saturday after the Blues suffered a 4-3 extra time defeat at the hands of Perranporth.
It was back down to earth for Sid Taylor's side after last week's comprehensive victory over Callington in the league, and with it goes the Blues' last likely chance of silverware this season.
With the scores tied at 3-3 after 90 minutes the game went to extra time, and despite having chances to snatch victory it was Perranporth who scored the all important fourth goal to see them into the semi-finals.
