Penryn put the disappointment of last week's heavy defeat away at Ivybridge behind them with a superb 24-5 bonus point victory over Wellington at the Memorial Ground.
The result means PEnryn remain 8th in Western Counties West, but move a healthy 13 points clear of Wellington in 9th.
Elsewhere in the league Truro produced perhaps their best performance of the season to thrash title rivals Burnham on Sea 45-7 at St Clement's Hill, but St Ives (SW) were outclassed by league leaders Ivybridge, going down 21-38 at home.
Full Western Counties West results were as follows:
Penryn 24 - 5 Wellington
St Ives (SW) 21 - 38 Ivybridge
Tavistock 17 - 33 Devonport Services
Teignmouth 53 - 14 Bude
Torquay Athletic 24 - 43 Kingsbridge
Truro 45 - 7 Burnham-on-Sea
