Perranporth 1 Helston Athletic 4
Helston put four past Perranporth at Ponsmere Valley to avenge their Charity Cup defeat at the beginning of the month and move within nine points of league leaders Sticker.
The home side ended the game with ten men after keeper Andy Butcher was given a red card for a two-footed tackle on Mark Goldsworthy that Blues manager Sid Taylor described as "the worst I've ever seen."
In a marked turnaround from their encounter at Kellaway Park at the beginning of March, Helston dominated the game, with goals from Goldsworthy and youngster George Molcher putting them two up before Butcher saw red.
Helston captain Jamie Thomson made it 3-0 with a goal straight from a corner, before Matt Fox rounded off a comprehensive win late on with Helston's fourth of the game.
The result stands Helston in good stead for the visit of league leaders Stiker to Kellaway Park in a fortnight's time.
Elsewhere Penryn Athletic thrashed Dobwalls 5-2 at Kernick Road.
Dobwalls have proven something of a bogey team for Penryn in the past, but there was no denying Steve Jewell's side, who made it two on the bounce following their impressive victory over Porthleven a week ago.
Penryn are now without a league game until the second week of April, when they travel to division one west strugglers Bude Town.
Porthleven, who registered a superb midweek win away at Wadebridge, made it two in a row with victory over Bude.
But title favourites Mousehole came unstuck away at Sticker, with Wayne Quinn's side going down 2-1.
Full division one west results were as follows:
Bude Town 1 - 2 Porthleven
Foxhole Stars 0 - 3 Callington Town
Holsworthy 2 - 1 St Dennis
Penryn Athletic 5 - 2 Dobwalls
Penzance 2 - 1 Vospers Oak Villa
Perranporth 1 - 4 Helston Athletic
Sticker 2 - 1 Mousehole
Wadebridge Town 4 - 1 Truro City
