Porthleven 1 Callington Town 2
Porthleven narrowly missed out on causing an upset - and in the process doing close neightbours and promotion contenders, Helston Athletic, a favour - after Callington came from a goal down to claim victory at Gala Parc.
Jordan Annear added to his growing reputation by opening the scoring against Lee Beer's side, who sit fourth in division one west, just a single point behind Helston but with games in hand on all the teams above them.
Port dug in against their high-flying opponents, and managed to hold on and take their lead in at the break.
But two second half goals from Callington - one from the penalty spot - saw them over the line to keep up the pressure on Mousehole and Sticker at the top of the table.
Helston were without a game, but face Sticker at Kellaway Park next weekend.

Thomas Hawkins gets a block in for Port.
Tom Annear, deputising as captain for the absent Dan Tarrant, shields the ball.
Elsewhere in division one west Mousehole thrashed Foxhole Stars 4-0, and St Dennis came through an eight goal thriller to beat Perranporth 5-3.
Truro City's miserable run of form coninuted with a -24 defeat at Treyew Road against Holsworthy, and Wadebridge Town capped a week to forget for Penzance after the Magpies were hammered 7-0 at Bodieve Park.

Mousehole 4 - 0 Foxhole Stars
Porthleven 1 - 2 Callington Town
St Dennis 5 - 3 Perranporth
Truro City 2 - 4 Holsworthy
