LUDGVAN 1 FALMOUTH TOWN 4
FALMOUTH Town bounced back to form in the Jolly's Combination League with their expected 4-1 victory away to bottom club Ludgvan.
Despite the gap in league positions, the game produced a competitive opening with neither side able to establish any supremacy until Town took the lead through Steve Proctor who scored with a shot from an acute angle.
Ludgvan belied their lowly position and threatened with good efforts from Wade Brown and Stuart Trevorrow, but just before the break Town snapped up a second goal when Darren Friend unleashed a great 20-yard shot that flew into the net after a deflection.
Ten minutes into the second half Town virtually wrapped up the points with a third goal when Steve Opie crossed for Bobby Bryant to score.
Ludgvan refused to lie down and pulled a goal back through Francis Pellow, but it was their last success as Town peppered Andy Angove's goal until they finally completed the scoring through Nathan McIntosh.
