LAUNCESTON COLTS 46pts HELL-FAL COLTS 0pts

ON the face of it the joint team had quite a tanning, but the score doesn't reflect the tenure of a physically contested game. In fact, take away the first and last five minutes and Hell/Fal showed significant signs of a much-improved performance.

Too much respect was shown early on, resulting in missed tackles which gave the home side two tries and control from the start, thus leaving the visitors playing catch-up. In fact, it was some of the more experienced Colts who never reached potential and the so-called lesser mortals who gave them a lesson in defence!

All is not lost, as there is a spirit, which like cream, will come to the top sooner if not later. Someone will receive a shock!

The Launceston coach congratulated the team for providing great opposition and most importantly turning up, as many sides this season have cancelled games with them.
