IT'S been another successful year for CABS (Cornwall Association Blind Shooting) especially for their team captain, Brian Tuffill, from Hayle, who has won the Allan McClaren cup for the fourth year running.
All the shooters have done particularly well this year and for five of them there are high hopes for good results at the forthcoming British Open Championship at Wolverhampton on January 20 and 21 and hopefully to bring back some gold and silver awards.
The club still continues to attract new shooters to its membership. The club is based at the Helston and District Rifle Club and meets every Wednesday between 2 and 4 pm, providing the opportunity for blind and visually impaired to take part in local and national target shooting Club results - supported discipline - Div I: 1, Brian Tuffill; 2, Joe Stinton; 3, Tony Luker.
Div II: 1, Stuart Williams; 2, Paul Cupples; 3, Reuben Daniel. Div III: 1, Ron Trenowden; 2, Ed Miles; 3, Geoff Roach.
