FALMLUTH UNITED 3 FALMOUTH TOWN 1
FALMOUTH United played their local rivals Falmouth Town in a cup match on Sunday.
The match was well contested with both United and Town having equal possession of the ball. Town were ahead at half time with the only goal of the half.
United turned the game around to their advantage with good midfield play, which saw the ball being released to United's strikers, with Alistair Parker-Rees scoring their first goal.
United dug in at the back, and when Town applied pressure on them, United's defence defended well. United continued to keep possession and took the game with a further two goals from Cody Cooke.
United are now through to the next round after their overall good performance of football.
The boys wish their coach Dennis Annear a speedy recovery after his operation, and hope to see him soon.
