SID Taylor said he would be happy to get any points tonight as his high-flying Helston side visit Penryn Athletic.
The Blues head into the match at Kernick Road with a 100 per cent win record in the South West Peninsula League West Division and a four point cushion at the top of the table.
However, Taylor expects Penryn, who moved up to third place after beating Liskeard Athletic 2-0 on Saturday, to be one of the hardest tests his side has faced so far.
Taylor said: “Penryn is a very difficult place to go to and get a result.
“They have had a terrific start to the season themselves and they are a young side who play good football and keep to a pattern.
“If we can come away with anything from the game then I would be happy with that.”
He went onto say the side are up for the challenge and he is happy with the squad available to him for the match.
“The lads are buzzing for the game,” Taylor said.
“With it being a midweek game, we will be missing one or two players who cannot make it either because of work or University commitments.
“But we have a squad of about 20 or 21 players at our disposal so I am not expecting it to be too much of a problem.”
