PENRYN Athletic’s Steve Jewell said he will try and not let the side get too carried away if they beat Helston tonight.
The South West Peninsula League West Division leaders visit Kernick Road having won all seven of their opening games of the 2014/15 and 36 goals to boot.
Jewell said it would be a really good boost for Borough if they can grab all three points.
However, the club’s joint manager added it is important they keep their feet firmly on the ground at this stage of the season, no matter what tonight’s result is.
“With us being in third place currently, it is a top of the table clash and they are always tough games to play in,” Jewell said.
“I think Helston are by far the best team in the division at the moment, but everyone is buzzing for the game here and every one of the player has to be up for it if we are to have a chance of winning.
“A victory would be great, but we will just take things steady and look where we are after we play Wadebridge Town away on Saturday and see where we go forth in the season from there.”
