ANOTHER face has returned to Falmouth Town’s first team as the club confirmed Tom Whipp had re-signed for them.
The midfielder has come back to Bickland Park after spending stints at Bodmin Town and Torpoint Athletic since leaving the team earlier this year in the summer.
He was captain of the side last season which managed to avoid relegation from the South West Peninsula League Premier division.
Whipp is not the only recent signing for the Ambers who has previously been a member of the squad in previous seasons as striker Glen Squires returned there last month.
The duo have also been joined by full-back Nick Hurst from Wadebridge Town as new manager Wayne Hughes continues to building his squad as they look to move away from the bottom end of the league table.
Tonight the Ambers travel to Poltair Park for a daunting task against St Austell in the Cornwall Senior Cup second round.
Their hosts for the game, which kicks-off at 7.30pm, have won 17 matches on the trot in all competitions in a run which has seen them progress to the fourth round of the FA Vase.
They also recently signed Harry Evans from Falmouth Town.
