AN OFFICIAL tie has been produced for the first time for the Jolly’s Combination League.

The design which is black and blue with the competition’s emblem on was made by RA Design, which is co-owned by Helston Athletic players Chris Strike and Tom Russell.

After being approached by the league chairman and Porthleven’s secretary Vidal James, the company agreed to create the tie for free.

On Boxing Day, before the Mayor’s Cup match at Gala Parc, James presented Strike with one of the ties to thank him and the company for their work and generosity.
