CONTRACTS have been signed by current Cornish Pirates stars Matt Bolwell and Marcus Garratt which will see them stay with the club next season.
The duo agreed the deals at the Mennaye for what will be their third and second seasons respectively with the Greene King IPA Championship side.
Back row forward Bolwell, 19, joined the Pirates in 2013 and has made 24 appearances for the team.
Garratt joined the club last summer under their Player Development Foundation scheme and the 20-year-old forward, who can play in either the back or second row, has made nine appearances before a injury hampered his campaign.
Director of rugby Ian Davies said: "Both lads have progressed well this season and we are very pleased to secure the two young ambitious players.
"Hopefully over the next few weeks others will follow suit."
