THIS picture has been adorning the offices of the Falmouth Harbour Commissioners for many years, but as yet no-one really knows too much about it.
The general feeling is that it might be a picture of Falmouth Rugby Club taken in 1930-31.
The only known clues are two of the players, Jack Plummer, who later became heavily involved with Penryn Rugby Club, and Sid Plummer.
In fact, the name Plummer has become synonymous with Cornish and English rugby with Ken playing for Cornwall and England, and his elder brother, Ray, also playing for Cornwall and eventually becoming the CRFU's representative to the RFU at Twickenham.
If anyone has any information they can ring the sportsdesk on 213340 or the harbour commissioners on 213000
