PENRYN u14s 39pts
CAMBORNE u14s 7pts
IN near perfect conditions, Penryn u14s served up their best team rugby of the season.
Getting the ball wide with purpose on occasions served them well against a Camborne side who played their part.
Bailey with his sniping run from the base of the scrum started proceedings. Man of the match Matthew, playing in a new position of centre, scored a good try after the forwards did the hard yards. His second was a peach from a quickly taken lineout when he showed a clean pair of heels to run in from 60m.
Camborne pulled a converted try back, to keep the crowd interested, but Laycock mesmerised the defence with a mazy run to score.
Bailey got his second with a well worked back row move, and with Timmonds and Nancholas getting on the scoresheet with stong running individual tries, Penryn were out of reach.
Coote converted three, and generally put the Borough on the front foot with his strong kicking from hand.
Man of match: Jim Matthew.
