VICTORIA Bryant, who in her early days attended school in Truro and St Feock Methodist Sunday School, the daughter of Andrew and Judith and now living in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, is enjoying great success in rowing for Great Britain under 20 team at the Youth Olympics in Australia.
She obtained a bronze medal in the pairs and a gold medal in each of the 4s and 8s.
Victoria, 19, will shortly be taking part in trials for the under 23s Olympic team in preparation for the next Olympic Games. She is now in her second year at Oxford Brookes University, along with her brother William.
Both of them were National Rowing Champions in 2006.
