THERE'S no change at the top of the Penryn and Falmouth World Rules Winter Pool League with the top four sides all winners.
Killigrew A remain top with a 12-3 win over the Labour Club, Penryn Bowling Club hammered Mawnan Sports 14-1, the Three Tuns won 11-4 against Killigrew B, while Penryn AFC edged through 9-6 over the Famous Barrel A.
A reminder that World Rules League fees to be paid by March 4.
In the first division of Old EPA Rules, leaders Woodlane SC A suffered their first league defeat losing 5-4 to the Workingman's. Trelowaren Arms stay in second place thanks to a 7-2 win over St Gluvias CC B, Penryn Bowling Club edged a tough 5-4 win over Falmouth CC to remain in third, while Falmouth Town SC recorded their second league win, defeating Wendron CC 5-4.
The second division have new leaders in the Seaview who hammered Penryn AFC 8-1 to storm five points clear, Woodlane SC B move up to second again despite losing 5-4 to Boslowick A. St Gluvias CC A stay at the bottom after losing 7-2 to Boslowick B who move up to third.
In the third division, Killigrew C have withdrawn from the league so treat all remaining fixtures as non-scoring byes.
The Prince of Wales increased their lead to eight points after a 5-4 win over the Three Tuns. Penryn RFC won 9-0 against bottom team the New Inn to move up to third, while Constantine SC A stay in fourth with a 5-4 win over the Wodehouse Arms.
In the World Rules triples competition semi finals, the Labour Club trio of Dean Pascoe, Sean Pascoe and Darren Merton pulled off a shock 5-4 win over Will Lawry, Rob Pellow and Shane Salisbury, and will play Matt Young, Nathan Young and Craig Southworth in the final. They defeated Sue Munday, Dave Ball and Asa Gould 5-2. The final will be played at the Killigrew on March 9.
In the Old EPA Rules triples semi finals, defending champions Ian Williams, Les Rundle and Steve Jose eased into a 4-1 lead over Mike Lythgoe, Ian Snowdon and Ian Hallam, only for the Clipperway team to come back and force a decider in which Ian Williams defeated Mike Lythgoe to put Woodlane in the final against the Trelowarren team of Simon Smith, Tim Snell and Malcolm Burley 5-3 winners in the other semi final.
The final will be played at Penryn Bowling Club on March 9.
