TOM Duncan has committed his future to the Cornish Pirates for another season.

The number eight signed a new deal at the Mennaye on Tuesday despite having spent this season on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.

Duncan first joined the Greene King IPA Championship side in 2012 after making his mark with Redruth.

Director of rugby Ian Davies said: “Tom was making great strides in skill development last pre-season when injury struck.

“It is very pleasing to able to offer Tom a new contract and it is hoped he can now enjoy a few years of injury free rugby.”
