LAURIE McGlone and Luke Jones have both agreed deals to remain Cornish Pirates players for another season.
The Greene King IPA Championship club announced the pair have signed contracts with them which will last until the end of 2015/16.
New Zealander McGlone, 36, who can play at either number eight or lock, joined the Pirates from Coventry in 2009 and played a crucial part in the 2010 British & Irish Cup triumph.
Guernsey-native Jones, 21, first came aboard at the Mennaye in 2013 having previously represented his home island and the England Under 18s.
In May 2010 Jones, who has featured for the Pirates as both a winger and full-back, became one of the youngest players to be included in the Siam Cup, the annual clash between Guernsey and Jersey.
Director of rugby Ian Davies said: "Laurie has been a cornerstone of our pack since I first arrived in Cornwall. He is the archetypal you get what it says on the tin type of rugby player.
"Luke has developed well under Gavin’s guidance and was unfortunate to get injured just as he was starting to break into the starting XV.
"A good pre-season and I’m sure the opportunity will come again."
