WENDRON CC A have regained the West Cornwall Winter Pool League Division One title by the closest of margins.
They won the last game of the season 6-3 against Constantine SC A and while defending champions Helston FC A had a 7-2 victory over Helston RBL A.
An extra point would have won the title for the footballclub as they had lost fewer games during the season.
Lizard FC A finished the season in third spot with a 6-3 win against Helston RFC A and Godolphin Club F came back from a 4-2 deficit to defeat the Atlantic Inn A team 5-4.
Wins from Michael Southgate, Alan Pearce, Craig Pound and Matt Sharpe helped the White Hart B team finish their season with a 6-3 win over Rodney Inn B.
Division Two proved to be even closer as Helston RBL B and Godolphin Club B finished level on points as both gained 6-3 wins in their final match, but RBL B became champions having lost fewer games.
The Legion won against the Angel and the Godolphin Club won against the Lion& Lamb A team.
White Hart A have finished bottom but finished the season in style with a 6-3 win over Helston RFC C with singles wins coming from Bill Magill, Alan Magill, Steve Southgate and Richie Sharpe, while the Bell Inn also finished with a 6-3 win against Helston RFC B.
Potters Bar B have won the Division Three title but second spot is still up for grabs. Helston FC B finished the season in style with an 8-1 win over Black Swan A but Mounts Bay and Helston RFC D still have two games in hand.
Helston RFC D had a 6-3 win over Breage SC last week while there was controversy between the Mounts Bay and Mullion FC B when with the Mounts Bay winning 5-1, there was a dispute with Mullion walking out.
The Three Tuns gained a 7-2 win over the Queens Arms in Division Four last week and they need a 9-0 victory in their rearranged game with Red Lion A to take the title instead of Paris B who have played all their games holding a nine point lead.
