SCRUM-HALF Jack Oulton has been signed up by the Cornish Pirates for the 2015/16 campaign.
The 19-year-old who was dual registered at the Cornish All Blacks and Wadebridge last season heads over to the Mennaye as part of the Greene King IPA Championship club's Player Development Foundation.
He has also been part of the Exeter Chiefs Academy squad, with Pirates director of rugby Ian Davies saying the club see him as a hot prospect.
Davies said: "Jack has been on our radar for about 18 months and we are very pleased he is the first addition to the 2015-16 PDF programme.
"I'm sure Jack's game will really benefit from being with us and under the watchful eye of Gavin Cattle."
The PDF is supported by donations and anyone wishing to sponsor the scheme should write a cheque payable to Friends of Cornish Rugby and send it to Tom Magill, The Cornish Pirates, ‘Westholme’, Alexandra Road, Penzance, Cornwall, TR18 4LY.
