THIS year’s Ron Curnow Memorial Cup is set to begin on Tuesday with Mullion's Clifden Parc acting as the host venue.
Last season the host side won the title for the first time by defeating St Keverne 3-1 in the final and their attempt to retain the title will be a repeat of this clash as their reserves take on the Trelawny Premier League side.
On Wednesday, Wendron United Reserves will face Lizard Argyle, who finished third last year, with both semi finals kicking off at 6.30pm.
The finals day will held on August 1 with the title decider starting at 2pm and the third place play-off having a 4.30pm kick-off.
All matches will be played at Mullion's ground.
Curnow was as stalwart of many football clubs around the Lizard Peninsula before his death in December 2011.
