Constantine finished their season with a flourish when they took the Jolly's Drinks Cornwall Cricket League division five county title in style, with an impressive eight wicket defeat of Eastern Division opponents Torpoint at Hayle.
Russell Weetch got his side off to a great start with a wicket in the first over.
Weetch and Paul Parkinson then went on to share the first four wickets to fall as the eastern champions slipped to 40 for 4 in the 16th over. The innings was saved by Alan Ridley who made 51 batting at number six.
Weetch ended with three for 30 from 12 overs. Parkinson, Darren Griffiths and Jacob Johnson Jnr took two wickets each.
Griffiths (24) and Scott Thompson set Constantine on the road to victory adding 49 in 11 overs.
After that Thompson went on to hit 10 fours in his match-winning knock of 71 not out and with Richard Waters (19no) added an unbroken 76 for the third wicket as Constantine cantered to victory with 14 overs to spare.
