Fly-half/centre Javier Rojas Alvarez is returning to the Cornish Pirates, having signed another one-year contract, with a view to extend.
Javier, 28, initially arrived in Cornwall last summer but then departed at the season’s end. He accumulated 121 points in league and cup matches across his 21 appearances.

Having impressed during pre-season with the Cornish Pirates, 21-year-old Suva Ma’asi has signed an apprentice contract with the club.
A son of former Pirates and Tonga hooker Viliami Ma’asi, Suva was capped by England at under-16 and under-17 levels and has in the past been a member of Northampton Saints under-18 academy, and Yorkshire Carnegie’s under-18 academy. More recently he has played senior rugby in the centre for Peterborough Lions.
Truro City have added Will Dean and Luke Jephcott to their ranks ahead of the new season.
Midfielder Dean has joined on a six-month loan from Exeter City, while striker Jephcott, who hails from Ponsanooth, has joined from Plymouth Argyle on a 28-day loan.

Former Redruth, Barnstaple and Launceston player Nelly Webber has joined Western Counties West side St Austell.
Redruth RFC begin their pre-season friendly programme at home to Penryn on Thursday (kick-off 7pm).
Saltash United and St Austell begin their FA Cup journey this weekend.
The Ashes host Clevedon Town while St Austell travel to Willand Rovers in the extra preliminary round.
