A first-half strike from Jack Bray-Evans guided Falmouth Town to their 13th Senior Cup title as they beat Wendron United 1-0 in front of 1298 fans at Poltair Park.
In what was a closely contested affair Bray-Evans' well-placed finish separated the sides after Ethan Fearn initially did well to save from Luke Barner.
It means Town have won the league and cup double in what has been an Easter weekend to remember for all in Falmouth colours.
Wendron, who were making their Senior Cup Final debut, started the brighter of the two sides and could have gone ahead in just the second minute of the match.
The lively Kian Thomas, who was a threat throughout the first half, beat Tom Annear before cutting the ball back to Jack Stocker on the edge of the box. The number ten pulled out a powerful drive that glanced off the top of the Falmouth bar and into the supporting fans.
They had another glorious opening after four minutes when Thomas this time showed fancy footwork to beat Tom Moxham to open up space inside the box. But when presented with the opportunity the young winger could only curl over the bar.
Town found their feet though and were denied the lead by some last-ditch Dron defending with ten minutes on the clock. Luke Brabyn sped away from Reece Carroll down the right flank before laying the ball across the box. Wendron could only clear as far as Andreas Calleja-Stayne who looked to have buried a shot into the bottom corner but for a superb block by a Wendron body.
The rebound came back to the midfielder but his second attempt was well gathered by Ethan Fearn.
They were celebrating after their next attack though as Bray-Evans once again found himself in the right place at the right time to score with 12 minutes played.
The move began on the right with Bray-Evans crossing to Tim Nixon on the edge of the box. The winger did well to lure in opponents before sliding in the overlapping Luke Barner who a curled a terrific effort toward the corner which was well saved by the outstretched arm of Fearn.
It looked like the keeper had parried the ball away to safety but Bray-Evans latched onto the loose ball and somehow from a tight angle swept the ball into the back of the net to make it 1-0 before dashing down the line to celebrate with his manager.
Wendron weren't prepared to let the game get away from them and mounted a determined response in search of an equaliser in the following minutes. Fred Walter saw his header from a free-kick fly wide of the goal before Cameron Wheat beat two men before shooting. However, his effort was straight at the Ryan Barnes between the sticks.
Dron continued to press for a response but Wheat could only sidefoot a Joe Souch centre wide of the mark with 33 minutes played.
Town squandered a huge opportunity to double the advantage six minutes shy of half time. The usual David Broglino to James Ward corner routine proved successful as the centre back found himself free at the back post. But Ward could only send his powerful header narrowly wide of the right post.
Charlie Young ought to have levelled the scores with 41 minutes played. A corner was missed by Falmouth defenders and fell to the striker in the six-yard box. But he could only flick a deft header wide of the target much to the relief of the Falmouth contingent behind the goal.
Falmouth nearly handed Wendron a goal on a plate seconds before the half time whistle when an attempted Annear clearance rebounded off his own man. The ball fell kindly to Lucas Potts who laid on Stocker but he could only lace his effort over the bar as Town went in 1-0 up at the break.
The beginning of the second half was always going to be an important sector of the match as both sides chased a goal. Falmouth had the better opportunities to extend the scoring with 47 minutes played but Fearn was again performing heroics to deny Ward and Bray-Evans from a corner.
If the first half was full of clear cut chances the second was anything but with play breaking down shy of the final ball on a number of occasions to the frustration of both managers.
Young did expertly well to wriggle free of Falmouth midfielders before chipping a well-placed ball into the path of Thomas on the hour mark. But the winger's wicked strike was well palmed behind by Barnes at his near post.
Bray-Evans was in the mood for a second goal and showcased his talents by spinning away from a Wendron defender from a throw before unleashing a powerful drive goalwards. But once again the in-form Fearn was on hand to keep the score at 1-0 with an outstretched leg with 69 minutes played.
The half seemed to die out from then on in as both sides shuffled up the pack with subs as Wendron hunted for a way back into the game while Falmouth looked to see the match out.
Wendron's Walter went into the book for a late tackle on Bray-Evans with 75 minutes on the clock. But the following free-kick from Barner flew straight into the wall.
In stoppage time there were loud appeals for a Wendron penalty after Thomas went to ground after colliding with Mohxam as the pair challenged for an aerial ball but referee Simon Long waved appeals away and whistled for full time shortly after.
