Vessels from far and wide have made the journey south to take part in the Atkins Ferrie Wealth Management’s Falmouth Classics.
The event is taking place from Friday, June 17 until Sunday, June 19.
Here is our gallery from the water taken on Friday afternoon, as the town bathed in glorious sunshine while it also celebrated the return of the International Sea Shanty Festival after a three year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The weekend event will see many of the boats racing on the Carrick Roads on Friday and Saturday, and there is an opportunity to get a closer view of the vessels between 4 and 6pm on Saturday afternoon. 70 boats will be moored on the pontoon, with 50 people allowed in the premises per time to view them.
Although entry is free there will be a collection for the Falmouth RNLI and Coast Medic. The pontoon is located at the bottom of Quay Street at Falmouth Haven.
