Truro City have secured midfielder Seidou Sanogo, on a two-year deal lasting until summer 2026.
Sanogo demonstrated his skills during pre-season, making an impact in friendly matches against Torpoint Athletic and Willand Rovers.
Previously, he made a name for himself playing for Isthmian Premier Division side Folkestone Invicta, where he scored eight goals last season.
He had also served at Chatham Town, contributing to their Isthmian League South East triumph in the 2022-23 period.
Sanogo relayed his excitement about his new team stating the he is very happy and the club is perfect for him.
He praised Truro City's play style and the club manager's confidence in him, intimating that Truro City will excel in the league.
He also expressed satisfaction with his own performances in the friendlies, while promising more, and commented on the club's growth, with the construction of a new stadium attracting more spectators.
He said: “For me, I will always work hard to try my best for the badge and for the fans. So far, I am really enjoying it."
Truro City also announced the signing of Yassine En-Neyah for his second spell at the club.
The 24-year-old Moroccan-born player, eligible to play for Ireland and Italy, has previously been part of Truro City during the 2022-23 campaign.
En-Neyah, who scored once in 14 appearances, played a pivotal role in Truro's Southern League play-off final win over Bracknell Town.
Following a brief stint at League Two club Colchester United and loan terms at Maldron and Tiptree, En-Neyah has decided to mark his return to Truro City.
During his career, En-Neyah has also played for League of Ireland clubs Shelbourne and Waterford and made an FA Cup appearance for Nottingham Forest in a match against Chelsea in January 2020.
He said: "After speaking to the manager, I couldn’t wait to come back."
He is excited to suit up for Truro in a new stadium and in a new league, hoping that this would provide a fresh challenge.
En-Neyah also expressed optimism about the squad's potential for the season, vowing dedication to prove his enhanced experience in men’s football resulting from his earlier time with the club.
