Helston Athletic enjoyed a drama-filled first home game in the Southern League as they welcomed Willand Rovers to Kellaway Park on Tuesday.
The historic day, which had everything from penalties to red cards, started rather quietly from both sides.
However it certainly got going 18 minutes in when the visitors took the lead with an impressive effort from outside the box.
But it did not take long for parity to be restored.
Helston's Stevie Colwell retaliated promptly in the 25th minute with a ground-shaking equaliser, leaving the game tied by half time.
In the second half, despite the Blues falling behind again on 55 minutes, they managed to inject energy back into the game with another equalising strike.
The scene was set for a suspenseful ending when the visitors were awarded their first of two penalties.
It was saved spectacularly, as was the rebound as Helston broke away on the counter-attack and forced the Rovers 'keeper to make a good save.
Drama continued as Helston's Crago was given his marching orders after receiving a second yellow card, meaning the home side were reduced to 10 men for the remainder of the game.
And who would have thought it, another spot kick was awarded deep in extra time - but luckily for the hosts it was missed.
The evening's encounter concluded as a 2-2 draw, wrapping up an undoubtedly thrilling first home fixture for Helston Athletic in the Southern League.
