Falmouth Town Reserves dropped their first points of the season in the Kernow Stone St Piran Football League premier division (West) when they were held to a 2-2 draw away to Hayle, writes Leon Prynn. 

Aaron Hicks and Kieran Rennard notched Hayle’s goals and Town replied through Jack Davies and Will Harding.

Illogan RBL took full advantage of Town’s slip to close the gap with a 3-1 win away to Porthleven. Will MacMeikan scored for Port.

Wendron United Reserves staged a dramatic recovery away to Redruth United after they overturned a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 with goals from Dan Head, Scott McElwee and Kayden Hague.

Mousehole Development were 3-0 winners at St Just and Praze-an-Beeble won by the same score at St Agnes.

Cup football dominated divisions one and two with West Cornwall chalking up the biggest win of the day 11-1 at home to Newlyn Non-Athletico.

Constantine suffered a 9-2 drubbing at the hands of Threemilestone with Keaton Prynn grabbing a brace for the home side.

Ross Duncan (2) and Oakley Brom scored for St Ives Town in their 3-1 win at Frogpool/Cusgarne Reserves and Craig Jackson had ’Pool’s consolation goal.

Probus, 1-0 up at half-time, were unable to hold on to their lead and lost a tight game against Mawnan 3-2 after Adam Bishop and George Truscott scored for Probus and Luke Wort, Dom Pullen and Jack Nancarrow replied for the visitors.

Illogan RBL Reserves were 3-2 winners away to St Buryan after Lewis Pellow (2) and Joel Heard snapped up the goals.

The big clash in division two saw Dropship end Holman SC’s unbeaten record with a 4-2 win at Blaythorne thanks to goals from Paul Robertson (2), Liam Chinn and an own goal. Holmans replied through Ollie Bray and Liam Phillips.

Perranwell Reserves suffered a 3-2 defeat at home to St Agnes Reserves after scoring through Kayne Trevaskis and James Wilsher.

Falmouth DC maintained their lead at the top of division three with a 11-0 win against St Day III.

St Erme/Godolphin, who trailed St Ives Mariners 3-1, hit back to win 5-3 after netting goals through Brandon McDonnell (2), Thierry Murley, Cain Thompson and Max Pethick.

Cal Pearson hit a hat-trick for Carharrack in their 7-1 demolition of St Just Reserves. Owen Dunstan and Dylan Tiddy had the other goals. Nick Hichens had Saints’ goal.

Mullion Reserves pulled off a good 3-1 win against Goonhavern Athletic with Athletic scoring through Sean Giddings.

Penryn Athletic Reserves ended Perranporth’s unbeaten record with a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Dean Goulding.

Troon Reserves maintained their 100 per cent record at the top of division four with a 3-1 win against Goonhavern Athletic Reserves. John Staffieri had Athletic’s goal.

Chacewater were 1-0 winners at Wendron United IV with their goal coming from Mike Cruse and Dropship Reserves were 3-1 winners at Mawgan with goals from Alex Clifford (2) and Dan Reeve.

Perranporth Reserves won 4-2 against Newlyn Non-Athletico Reserves.
