St Gluvias's dalliance with the relegation zone in County One continued at Wadebridge on Sunday when they were beaten by four wickets.
Delayed a day due to the wedding of Neil Pearce, much of St Gluvias' play appeared to suffer through the excesses of a late-night wedding party.
Missing the talented Fraser King, St Gluvias only had one batsman who made a significant contribution to the visitors' scorecard. Opener Matt Pease hit eight fours in his 59 when he was the sixth batsman out with the total having staggered on to 102.
Jon Udy went for 12 and Justin Hocking for 10 and but for the last wicket partnership of 25 between Josh Kelly (15 not out) and Dave Connolly (14) St Gluvias would have finished with a very disappointing total rather than the still inadequate 151 finally reached.
Of the home bowlers Ross 3-49 and the impressive Centini 3-10 did most of the damage.
In their reply Wadebridge made steady if unspectacular progress although St Gluvias must have felt a little buoyed by taking the opening wicket of Devilliers for a duck with just one run on the board.
Jones and Nick Yelland pushed the score on the 47, but both eventually perished with Jones going for 29 and Yelland for 26 when with the total on 86-4 nerves might have started to creep in.
However, Bennetts anchored the inning with a sound 41 and contributions from Menhennick (17) and Ross (12) ensured the game was never going to be in danger of slipping away.
For St Gluvias, Pease, Udy and Sorma both claimed two wickets.
