Helston Athletic manager Sid Taylor is looking to strengthen his squad for the Jolly’s Combination title run in, by capturing the signatures of Falmouth Town striker Liam Eddy and Porthleven defender Ashley Stidwell.
Taylor confirmed that the club had put in seven days’ notice for both players and he was awaiting a response.
Eddy, who used to play for Helston before moving onto Truro City and Falmouth, has grown frustrated at Bickland Park in recent weeks having been kept out of the side by an inform Matt Drummond and Jamie Densham.
Ashley Stidwell is a regular first team player at Porthleven FC and Taylor admitted the player has yet to make up his mind about joining his brother Dan (Stidwell) at Kellaway Park.
