Porthleven are searching for a new manager after John Dent resigned on Saturday morning.
Dent took over the manager's job following the resignation of Kevin Richards last September.
Dent guided Port to the semi-finals of the Cornwall Senior Cup and a mid-table finish in the Carlsberg SW Peninsula League division one west.
However, it has been a difficult summer for Dent who saw a number of his first team players leave.
Striker Rob Carey left to link-up with former boss Kevin Richards at Jolly's Combination League rivals Mullion, while captain Chris Strike and midfielder Jordan Adlard joined local rivals Helston Athletic.
Assistant manager Daryll Hunter is in temporary charge for today's match against Godolphin.
