Cup winners have been crowned during a windy weekend of golf in Falmouth, Cornwall.
Saturday saw another large turnout of 93 for the John Rose Memorial cup at Falmouth Golf Club.
On a weekend that saw various different seasons depending on where you find yourself, there were still a number of birdies to be celebrated over the course of 18 holes.
From a huge turnout of just under 100, three performances earned places at the top of the board.
Kevin James walked away a winner with an overall haul of 40 stableford points including a birdie at hole eight.
Kevin's steady performance yielded respective nines of 22 and 18 points to win by one point from Chris Pellow who carded nines of 17 and 22 including a birdie at hole 11.
Third was Paul Westall who despite blobs” at the 2nd 14th and 17th holes finished with 38 points with equal nines of 19 points apiece.
On the windy day the easiest hole was the 11th which averaged +0.48 and the most difficult was the 14th which averaged +1.72
The 18 hole course hosts mainly par 4 holes but does also include tees on the 9, 17 and 18 holes that can turn it into a par 5.
The course at Falmouth finds itself surrounded by stunning views and, due to its cliff-top location, is known for being somewhat windy.
Originally founded in 1894, Falmouth Golf Club was located at two other different sites before finding its home at Pennance.
