Falmouth runner Lesly Heather successfully completed a 70 mile ultra marathon, 'The Wall' on Saturday June 19.
She completed the massive distance in 20 hours, four minutes and 55 seconds.
The journey began at Carlisle and involved an enormous journey along Hadrian's Wall to the finishing point in Newcastle.
Mrs Heather was raising money for UK Sepsis Trust, a charity close to her heart after losing a family friend Chloe Rideout to the illness.
A portion of the money raised will also go to Falmouth Hockey Club where Mrs Heather is the clubs' Welfare and Publicity officer.
The UK Sepsis Trust was founded in 2012 by NHS consultant, Dr Ron Daniels BEM. The charities aim is to end preventable deaths from sepsis and improve outcomes for sepsis survivors. They believe that the earlier diagnosis and treatment across the UK would save several thousand lives a year.
The initial target for the fundraiser was set at £500 however donations have smashed that initial fee, the total currently stands (as of Saturday June 26) at £1960
