Animals had to be rescued from a barn near Truro after fire broke out early this morning.
Crews from St Mawes, Mevagissey, Truro and St Austell as well as specialist vehicles were called out to deal with the fire at Veryan Green, Veryan just before 6.30am.
A Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire had spread to a second barn and crews tackled the blaze using three jets and six sets of breathing apparatus.
Adding: " Animals have been released from the barns by the farmer and the fire crews."
